KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 182,816 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 118,664 tonnes of Import Cargo and 64,152 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 118,664 tonnes Comprised of 69,961 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 7,056 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo &41,647 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 64,152 tonnes Comprised of 38,091 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 283 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 878 tonnes of Cement, 18,800 tonnes of Clinkers & 6,100 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 05 ships namely, Meghna Adventure, Liberty Harvest, Msc Mirjam, Yu Xiao6 & Tan Binh 279 berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, Xin Chang Shu, Ever Urban, Even Lunar & Stolt Brelan sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, APL Oregon, BSG Barbados and Seaconger left the port on Thursday morning & another ship ‘Bow Endeavour’ is expected to sail on Thursday.
Cargo volume of 119,058 tones comprising 90,177 tones imports cargo and 28,881 export cargo carried in 2,615 Containers (1,358 TEUs Imports & 1,257 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 16 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, GSL Rossi, MSC Chiloe, Corona, Fatemah Jahan-II and Bahri Gadha carrying Container, Palm oil and Coal are expected to take berths QICT, LCT, PQEPT and PIBT respectively on Thursday 30th July, 2026.
