ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Kuwait on Wednesday reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation and promoting regional peace and stability during a meeting between Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, and Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Kuwaiti foreign minister was accompanied by Kuwait’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nassar Abdul Rahman J Al-Mutairi.
The two sides discussed matters of mutual interest, the regional security environment and measures to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, the visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s steadfast support, its constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability, and the longstanding fraternal ties between Pakistan and Kuwait.
Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening relations with Kuwait, saying both countries share a common vision for regional peace, stability and prosperity.
The meeting reflects the continued high-level engagement between Islamabad and Kuwait as both sides seek to expand cooperation across multiple areas of mutual interest.
