Rescue officials said on Wednesday that firefighters had brought a blaze at a factory near Gulshan-e-Maymar under control following a prompt emergency response.
According to a Rescue 1122 spokesperson, the Central Command and Control Centre had dispatched fire and rescue teams, a fire brigade truck and an ambulance immediately after receiving reports of the fire.
The spokesperson said the timely operation enabled firefighters to extinguish the blaze, while cooling operations were continuing to prevent the fire from reigniting.
