Kuwaiti FM meets Field Marshal Munir, discusses regional security, bilateral ties

Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, where the two sides discussed regional security, matters of mutual interest and ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Kuwaiti foreign minister was accompanied by Kuwait’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nassar Abdul Rahman J. Al-Mutairi.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, the regional security environment and measures to enhance cooperation between Pakistan and Kuwait.
The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s steadfast support, its constructive contribution toward regional peace and stability, and the deep-rooted fraternal ties between the two countries, the military’s media wing said.
Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to its longstanding relationship with Kuwait, saying both countries shared a common vision for regional peace and prosperity.
