Gilgit-Baltistan govt: Seven out of 12 cabinet members administered oath

GILGIT: Seven out of the 12 cabinet members of the Gilgit-Baltistan government have taken the oath of office on Monday.

GB Governor Syed Mehdi Shah administered the oath to seven cabinet members. Four members of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party, who were included in the provincial cabinet, did not attend the oath-taking ceremony.

A member from the People’s Party could not take the oath due to the closure of Skardu Road.
