ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have taken strict departmental action against 11 police personnel, including two officers, for dereliction of duty and dismissed them from service.
According to documents, the dismissed personnel were absent from highly sensitive duty, which was termed “criminal negligence”.
Constables Ghulam Murtaza, Khurram Shahzad, Muhammad Shahzad Aslam, Muhammad Irfan and other officials were among those dismissed from service.
Assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs) Abid Hussain and Waqar Ahmed were among those removed from service.
The officers and officials who were dismissed from service were assigned duty at important points.
Police officers and officials committed criminal negligence by absenting themselves from the duty.
