KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 191,038 Tons of Cargo Comprising 82,333 tonnes of Import Cargo and 108,705 tonnes Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 82,333 tonnes Comprised of 28,154 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 12,495 tonnes of B. Bulk Cargo, 970 tonnes of Canola, 1,714 tonnes of Lentils, & 39,000 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 108,705 tonnes Comprised of 48,852 tonnes of Containerized Cargo,205 tonnes of B. Bulk Cargo, 44,431 tonnes of Clinkers, 4,272 tonnes of Loose Bulk Cement,489 tonnes of Rice,&10,456 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Approximately, 05 ships namely Kawa Dalian, Ever Excel, Ivs Trader, Marine Ista, & Marine Xena berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Around, 08 ships namely, Sierra, Navi Sunny, Oocl Dallan, Hmm Leaf, Oc Grande, Dede Korkut, Newvoyager, & Nani K sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them four ships, Maersk Calabar, CMA CGM Verdi, Torm Alice and Hafnia Shannon left the port on Thursday morning, while two more ships, Yasa Pluto and Trimmu-3 are expected to sail on Thursday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 133,190 tones comprising 101,559 tones imports cargo and 31,631 export cargo carried in 2,390 Containers (1,532 TEUs Imports & 858 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 14 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, Rhine, Pacific Debbie, Can Bey, Malak and GSL Malina & three more ships, Wilmot, Seapan Osaka and Yiannios scheduled to load/offload Palm oil, Mogas, Rice, Coal, Container and LPG are expected to take berths LCT, FOTCO, FAP, PIBT, QICT and SSGC respectively on Thursday 23rd July, 2026.
