KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 115,893 Tons of Cargo Comprising 77,234 Tons of Import Cargo and 38,659 Tons of Export Cargo during last 24 hrs ending at 0700 hours.

The Total Import Cargo of 77,234 Tons Comprised of 30,579 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 7,784 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 3,525 Tons of Canola, 2,398 Tons of Lentils, and 32,948 Tons of Liquid Cargo.

The Total Export Cargo of 38,659 Tons Comprised of 23,599 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 911 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 12,484 Tons of Clinkers, and 1,665 Tons of Rice.

Four ships namely CMA CGM Vela, Queen Coral, Benita, and P. Aliki berthed Karachi Port Trust.

Ten ships one Motivativator, Hafnia Alabaster, Yu tong, Uafl Liberty, Bow Trident, Fu Hua, Nara, Avra, M.T. Mardan, and Wan Hai 516 sailed from Karachi Port Trust.

Port Qasim

A total of twelve ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them four ships, Marianna-I, Spirit of Bertram, Silk Jakarta and Roama-19 left the port on morning, while three more ships, Epic Santosa, GSL Melina and Chemroad Journey are expected to sail on afternoon.

Cargo volume of 209,556 tones comprising 162,973 tones imports cargo and 46,583 export cargo carried in 6,123 Containers (3,575 TEUs Imports and 2,548 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

There are 13 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, Akij Pearl, Zeal Start, Chemroad Quest and APL Qingdao & three more ships, Bai Chay Bridge, British Contributor carrying Palm oil, Coal, Chemicals, Container and LNG are expected to take berths LCT, MW-4, EVTL, QICT, EETL and PQEPT respectively on 16th July, 2026.
