FBR integrates 13,454 big retailers with POS system

ISLAMABAD: The number of big retailers, textile/leather retailers and restaurants integrated with the Point of Sales (POS) system of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has been increased from 12,950 in April 2026 to 13,454 units up to July 1, 2026, reflecting an increase of 504 Tier-I retailers.

Total number of integrated branches/outlets of Tier-I retailers, textile/leather retailers and restaurants stood at 37,122 up to July 1, 2026.

According to the list of retailers compiled by the FBR till July 1, a total of 11,798 Tier-I retailers were registered with the POS system. Total number of 24,687 branches of retailers has been integrated with the system.

As many as 1,093 restaurants were registered with the POS system whereas 1,716 branches have been integrated with the FBR’s system.

A total of 563 textile and leather retailers were registered with the FBR whereas 10,719 branches have been integrated with the system.
