LCCI raises concerns over factory inspection incident

LAHORE: President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Faheem-ur-Rehman Saigol met a delegation of the Daroghawala Industrial Association which expressed serious concerns over an incident that took place at Masaud Tech Industries (Pvt.) Ltd.

The delegation included Executive Committee Member Rana Shouban Akhtar, Rameez Diwan and other industrialists.

The delegation members informed the LCCI president that the assistant commissioner Wagah, accompanied by several individuals, entered the factory and demanded an inspection.

According to the delegation, when the factory management asked for identification, authority and details regarding the purpose of the inspection, no clear introduction or documentary proof was provided.
