KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 130,354 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 103,372 tonnes of Import Cargo and 26,982 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 103,372 tonnes Comprised of 96,543 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 3,297 tonnes of Lentils, & 3,532Tons of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 26,982 tonnes Comprised of 20,529 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 3,436 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 708 tonnes of Cement, 15,392 tonnes of Clinkers, 2,097 tonnes of Rice, & 212 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Around, 08 ships namely, Kokta Plumbago, One Motivator, Zhuo Yue Yuan Yang, Msc Erica, Tor, Hafnia Alabaster, Christinab, & Avra at the Karachi Port Trust.
Approximately, 07 ships namely, Xin los angekes, brooklyn bridge, yuxiao 10, mt Karachi, oriental tulip, lucky chem, ssf chem, & ever ethic sailed from Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, SK Resolute and Poseidon GR left the port on today morning, while three more ships, Harvest Legacy, Gas Aurora and Venus-09 are expected to sail on Monday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 80,761 tones comprising 80,761 tones imports cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 14 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, Roama-19, Maple Ocean, Epic Santosa and Elijah & another ship ‘Zhou Yue Yuan Yang’ carrying Palm oil, Chemicals, LPG, Coal and Container are expected to take berths LCT, EVTL, SSGC, PIBT and QICT respectively on Monday 13th July, 2026.
