ISLAMABAD: Pakistani security forces killed seven more terrorists during ongoing ground and aerial operations under Operation Shaban in Balochistan on Saturday, bringing the total number of terrorists eliminated in the operation to 64, according to security sources.
The joint operation, involving the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan and Balochistan Police, is continuing against terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij in difficult terrain across the province.
Security sources said the latest engagements resulted in the elimination of seven more terrorists, taking the total number killed since the launch of Operation Shaban to 64.
They added that, since July 5, a total of 102 terrorists have been killed in Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted across Balochistan. According to the sources, security forces are continuing coordinated ground and air operations to clear the area, with the objective of eliminating all remaining terrorist elements. The sources reaffirmed that Operation Shaban will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated, underscoring the resolve of the security forces to restore peace and stability in Balochistan.
