LAHORE: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Friday adjourned the hearing in the High Court copy branch vandalism case till September 02 after the accused advocate Majid Jahangir failed to appear before the court.

The court also asked prosecution to submit its arguments on an acquittal plea of Majid Jahangir on next hearing.

Earlier, Majid’s brother informed the court that his brother had gone missing and his family was trying to trace his whereabouts.

He, therefore, asked the court to allow additional time to locate Majid and submit his whereabouts. The court adjourned the proceedings accordingly.

Old Anarkali police had registered the case against advocate Majid Jahangir on the complaint of Assistant Registrar.
