FAISALABAD: In a landmark development for textile and fashion education in South Asia, the National Textile University (NTU), Faisalabad, and BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT), Dhaka, have signed a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster academic excellence, cutting-edge research, and institutional collaboration between the two premier institutions.
The virtual signing ceremony, held earlier today, brought together senior administrators, distinguished faculty members, and key officials from both universities, underscoring the significance of this cross-border academic alliance. Dr. Ahsan Nazir, Director of the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at NTU, and Faruque Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at BUFT, formally signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.
The ceremony witnessed significant participation from both sides. BUFT was represented by Prof. Engr. Dr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Vice Chancellor (Designate), alongside other senior officials.
