KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 215,545 Tons of Cargo Comprising 159,160 Tonsof Import Cargo and 56,385 Tons of Export Cargo during last 24 hrs ending at 0700 hours.

The Total Import Cargo of 159,160 Tons Comprised of 57,590 Tons of Containerized Cargo, and 101,570 Tons of Liquid Cargo.

The Total Export Cargo of 56,385 Tons Comprised of 21,970 Tons of Containerized Cargo,748 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 2,952 Tons of Cement, 2,015 Tons of Clinkers, 4,135 Tons of Rice, 18,015 Tons of Talc Powder, and 6,550 Tons of Liquid Cargo.

There are four ships namely GFS Jade, TS Kelang, Star Bright, and Heng Hui 6 at Berth at Karachi Port Trust.

Four ships namely Tarlan, X-Press Anglesey, An Hai, and Hmm Colombo sailed from Karachi Port Trust.

Port Qasim

A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a chemicals carrier ‘YC Daisy’ left the port & two more ships, LNGC Arada and Avra are expected to sail.

Cargo volume of 106,362 tones comprising 90,319 tones imports cargo and 16,043 export cargo carried in 849 Containers (213 TEUs Imports & 636 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

There are 09 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them a liquefied natural gas carrier ‘PGC Periklis’ and two more ships, GFS Jade and Brooklyn Bridge carrying LPG and Container are expected to take berths EVTL and QICT respectively on 7th July, 2026.
