On the occasion of National Logistics Day, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all logistics and supply chain professionals whose dedication, resilience, and innovation keep Pakistan’s trade and economy moving forward.

The logistics industry serves as the backbone of national and international commerce, connecting businesses, markets, and communities through efficient transportation, freight forwarding, warehousing, and supply chain solutions. As global trade continues to evolve, the role of logistics has become more critical than ever in ensuring competitiveness, economic growth, and sustainable development. On this day I must appreciate the steps & untiring efforts taken by the Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah, NI(M), Mr. Shahbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan & Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs especially in Logistics & Shipping Industry during the closure of straits of Harmous & boost the economy of Pakistan.

Pakistan’s logistics sector has demonstrated remarkable adaptability in the face of changing market dynamics and global challenges. The contributions of freight forwarders, transport operators, customs agents, shipping lines, airlines, and all allied stakeholders have been instrumental in facilitating trade and supporting the country’s economic aspirations.

As the representative body of Pakistan’s freight forwarding industry, PIFFA remains committed to promoting professionalism, capacity building, digital transformation, and international best practices. Through continuous training, industry engagement, and collaboration with government authorities and international partners, we strive to strengthen Pakistan’s logistics ecosystem and enhance its contribution to national development.

On this National Logistics Day, let us reaffirm our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence. Together, we can build a more efficient, integrated, and globally competitive logistics sector that supports Pakistan’s vision for economic prosperity and regional connectivity.
