Altaf pays tributes to Benazir

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has said that Benazir Bhutto was a great leader of Asia who was martyred by the evil forces.

In his message on the fourth death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto, Altaf said that all those democratic forces which were fighting for the rights of people were saddened today, and they were paying tribute to the martyred leader.

He said that Benazir was martyred because of her efforts for the promotion of democracy, strengthening of democratic institutions and for the rights of the deprived segment of society.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to rest her soul in eternal peace.
