KARACHI: President of the United Business Group (UBG) and former President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Zubair Tufail has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) headquarters in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Karachi.
In a statement, he said that targeting the country’s security personnel was a reprehensible act of terrorism and a direct attack on national security and unity.
He said such cowardly acts could never weaken the resolve of the nation or its law enforcement agencies.
Paying rich tribute to the Rangers personnel who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty, he said the fallen heroes had made the ultimate sacrifice to safeguard the country’s peace, security and sovereignty.
He said that the Pakistan Rangers, armed forces and other law enforcement agencies had rendered unparalleled sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and deserved the unwavering support and respect of the entire nation. He stressed that those responsible for the attack must be brought to justice without delay to ensure that no one dares to threaten Pakistan’s peace and security.
