KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 197,103 Tons of Cargo Comprising 80,806 Tons of Import Cargo and 116,297 Tons of Export Cargo during last 24 hrs ending at 0700 hours.

The Total Import Cargo of 80,806 Tons Comprised of 56,143 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 998 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 6,186 Tons of Chickpeas, 3,900 Tons of Soya Beans Seeds and 13,579 Tons of Liquid Cargo.

The Total Export Cargo of 116,297 Tons Comprised of 50,849 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 660 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 56,111 Tons of Clinkers, 589 Tons of Rice and 8,088 Tons of Liquid Cargo.

Six ships namely Montok, Seaspan Brightness, Delphinus C, Oocl Jakarta, Senator and Raffles Prosperity are at Berth at Karachi Port Trust.

Eight ships namely Al Joudi 1, Msc Douala Viii, M.T Mardan, Marine Ista, Newvoyager, Wna Hai 316, As Anne, Ever Lenient and MSC Krystal sailed from Karachi Port Trust.

Port Qasim

Shipping activity was report at the port where two ships, Mostar and Darya Anita carrying Mogas and Coal, berthed at FOTCO oil Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal on 28th June. Meanwhile three more ships, Safeen Power, Rek Grace and GHD Glory Container, Steel Coil and Palm Kernel also arrived at outer anchorage.

A total of seven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a edible oil carrier ‘Southern Anoa’ expected to sail on 29th June.

Cargo volume of 71,391 tones comprising 71,391 tones imports cargo and 0 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

There are 15 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Rek Grace and Safeen Power and another ship ‘Everlasting Grace’ carrying Container and Palm Kernel are expected to take berths MW-2 and QICT respectively on 29th June, 2026.
