Karachi traders demand early arrest in slain merchant incident
KARACHI: The All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajiran and All City Traders Alliance have demanded the immediate arrest of the terrorists responsible for the killing of a businessman in Balochistan’s Dasht area.
In a statement issued on Monday, spokesperson Muhammad Ismail Lalpuri expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of trader Ali Murtaza. He directly appealed to Field Marshal Asim Munir, President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice without delay.
“The murder of one innocent trader is equivalent to the murder of the entire trading community,” Lalpuri said. “This tragedy has sparked profound grief and anger among traders across the country, especially in Karachi.”
