ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday arrived in Saudi Arabia for holding talks with Saudi authorities on evolving situation in the Middle East.
According to sources and international media reports, during his June 29-July 2 official visit, Naqvi will hold extensive talks with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef, to discuss the rapidly evolving security and political situation across the Middle East.
Sources said that both sides will also review regional stability, counterterrorism cooperation, and strengthening coordination between the two countries on matters of mutual interest.
The two sides are also expected to review the implementation of existing bilateral security cooperation initiatives and explore avenues for further enhancing collaboration in law enforcement, intelligence sharing, border security, and institutional coordination, the sources added.
