Terror acts in Kharan & Mastung: Nihal hails security forces for successful operations

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi on Saturday hailed Pakistan’s security forces for carrying out successful counterterrorism operations in Balochistan’s Kharan and Mastung districts, saying the actions demonstrated the military’s professionalism and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the country’s peace and stability.

In a statement, the Governor paid tribute to the armed forces for conducting intelligence-based operations against what he described as Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists, saying eight militants were killed during the operations, effectively foiling what he termed the enemy’s “malicious designs.” Hashmi said the successful operations reflected the courage, operational excellence and high level of professionalism of Pakistan’s security forces, which continue to confront terrorist threats with determination and effectiveness.
