Bangladesh Military Academy: Commandant PMA attends passing-out parade
ISLAMABAD: The Commandant of the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), Major General Iftikhar Hassan Chaudhary, attended the passing-out parade at the Bangladesh Military Academy as a special guest at the invitation of the Bangladesh authorities, reflecting the growing defence ties between the two countries.
The ceremony was also attended by senior military officials from several other countries.
Speaking on the occasion, the PMA Commandant said it was a great pleasure to attend the graduation ceremony of the young cadets. He expressed confidence that Pakistan and Bangladesh would always remain connected through the bonds of brotherhood, friendship, and mutual respect.
He described Bangladesh as a beautiful country and said the warmth, hospitality, and affection extended to him during the visit were truly unforgettable.
Addressing the graduating cadets, the PMA Commandant urged them to work hard and equip themselves with modern technological skills, stressing that future success would increasingly depend on knowledge and technological superiority.
The participation of the PMA Commandant in the passing-out parade underscores the growing defence cooperation, mutual trust, professional military engagement, and strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
