KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 191,768 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 136,651 tonnes of Import Cargo and 55,117 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 136,651 tonnes Comprised of 74,649 tonnes of Containerized Cargo,19,434 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo,6,874 tonnes of (Dap), 8,559 tonnes of Rock Phosphate, 6,630 tonnes of Soya Beans Seeds, & 20,505 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 55,117 tonnes Comprised of 28,067 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 1,151 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 14,946 tonnes of Clinkers, 953 tonnes of Rice, & 10,000 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Approximately, 08 ships namely, Mma Valour, MscEmanuela, X-Press Pyxis, Hyundal Brave, Oktan, Al Joudl 1, NbaOrosperity, & Ming Qiang Xing berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Around, 09 ships, namely Safeen Power, Amo 2, ErMaden, Ultra Pemba, Kmtc Mundra, Msc Reef, MmaValour, Metro Mistral, & Oktan sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Chris GR and OBE Grande left the port on today morning, while three more ships, Athenian Star, GFS Jade and Safeen Power are expected to sail on Monday afternoon.
Cargo volume of 123,097 tones comprising 63,883 tones imports cargo and 59,214 export cargo carried in 3,399 Containers (1,497 TEUs Imports & 1,902 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 15 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them six ships, MSC Toronto, Hua Chuang, Hiroshima Star, Qi Kin Zuo, Mraikh and Najwa & another ship ‘Prima Dharma’ carrying Container, Soya Bean Seed, Mogas, LNG, Coal and Chemicals are expected to take berths QICT, FAP, FOTCO, PGPCL, PIBT and EVTL respectively on Monday 22nd June, 2026.
