KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 164,983 Tons of Cargo Comprising 102,562 Tons of Import Cargo and 62,421 Tons of Export Cargo during last 24 hrs ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 102,562 Tons Comprised of 33,322 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 10,346 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 5,113 Tons of (Dap), 420 Tons of Rock Phosphate, 5,533 Tons of Total Bulk, and 53,361 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 62,421 Tons Comprised of 35,701 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 420 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 20,000 Tons of Clinkers, 20,000 Tons of Total Bulk, and 62,421 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
There are eight ships namely NykFutago, Yaesu, GFS Perfect, Southern, Ever Lifting, Esl Mundra, Seaspan Brilliance, and Helena K Berth at Karachi Port Trust.
Nine ships namely One Readiness, UafiDubai, Scion Charlotte, Kiran Caspian, Zhong Gu Ri Zhao, Xin Hang Zhou, YmExcellence, Sierra, and M.T. Mardan, sailed from Karachi Port Trust.
Port Qasim
A total cargo volume of 168,476 comprising 130,247 tonnes imports cargo and 38,229 tonnes export cargo was handled at the Port, during the last 24 hours including containerized cargo carried in 2,511 Containers (1,249 TEUs Imports and 1,262 TEUs export.
There are 12 ships at outer anchorage of the port, out of them two ships namely,TPTHeart and Gas Aurora carrying Palm oil and LPG are expected to take berthsat LCTand EVTL respectively on Tuesday, 16thJune-2026, while another container vessel Spirit of Bartram is due to arrive at Port Qasim on Wednesday, 17th June-2026 and Nileduth Lion is due to arrive on Thursday, 18th June-2026.
