FCC announces revised office hours

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Constitutional Court has revised the court and office hours at its Principal Seat and all Benches located in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, and Quetta.

The revised schedule shall come into effect from 15th June 2026. Under the notification issued with the approval of the Chief Justice, the Court shall observe a five-day working week (Monday to Friday).

Court Hours

Monday to Thursday

Court Sittings: 09:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Interval: 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Court Sittings: 11:30 a.m. to 01:00 p.m.

Friday

Court Sittings: 09:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Office Hours

Monday to Friday

08:30 a.m. to 04:30 p.m.

On Fridays, a one-hour break shall be observed from 01:00 p.m. to 02:00 p.m. for lunch and Juma prayers.

The notification further provides that, except for matters of an urgent nature, no matter shall be received within one hour of the closing time.

The revised timings are intended to ensure the efficient functioning of the Court and facilitate the smooth administration of constitutional justice across all registries and benches of the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan.
