ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister (DPM/FM) Mohammad Ishaq Dar held separate telephone conversations on Thursday with the Foreign Ministers of Türkiye and Egypt to discuss the evolving regional situation in the Middle East.

During the talks, Ishaq Dar, Turkish FM Hakan Fidan, and Egyptian FM Dr Badr Abdelatty underscored the importance of dialogue, restraint, and diplomatic engagement to ease tensions and promote lasting peace and stability in the region.

They also exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and agreed to maintain close coordination and consultations on regional and international developments.

Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its longstanding ties with both Türkiye and Egypt through continued high-level engagement and cooperation.

Pakistan and Egypt’s FMs discussed regional developments and stressed the importance of continued dialogue and diplomatic engagement. FM Abdelatty appreciated Pakistan’s continued mediation efforts, and both leaders expressed hope that ongoing efforts would lead to an early understanding between the parties, contributing to lasting regional peace and stability.
