KARACHI: The Science and Information Technology Department, Government of Sindh, has successfully launched its newly developed e-portal (for all departments at Government of Sindh), a landmark digital governance initiative aimed at transforming public service delivery through technology, transparency, and citizen-centric solutions.

The newly developed e-portal (an ADP Scheme) was inaugurated by Muhammad Ali Rashid (Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh) in presence of Zulfikar Ali Nizamani (Secretary S&ITD), Member IT, CEO, SITC, along with other senior officials from S&ITD and representatives from GCS Pvt ltd., during the ceremony held on June 9.

Speaking at the event, Muhammad Ali Rashid (SACM) highlighted that the portal will serve as a unified digital gateway, enabling users to access public services efficiently, which promotes greater transparency and accountability across all departments.

The e-portal is expected to: Simplify access of citizen-centric government services through a unified platform; Improve transparency and efficiency in public administration; Enable faster communication between citizens and government departments; Support the Province’s broader vision for digital governance and innovation.

The e-portal has been designed to provide citizens, businesses, and government employees with convenient online access to a wide range of public services, information, and administrative processes.

The initiative reflects the commitment of the Government of Sindh towards digital transformation, improved governance, and enhanced service accessibility.

The launch of this portal marks another significant step in Sindh’s journey toward a modern, technology-driven public sector that delivers services more effectively and responsively to the people of the province.
