KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 150,863 Tons of Cargo Comprising 98,927 Tons of Import Cargo and 51,936 Tons of Export Cargo during last 24 hrs ending at 0700 hours.

The Total Import Cargo of 98,927 Tons Comprised of 31,364 Tons of Containerized Cargo,15,587 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 5,435 Tons of Soya Bean Seeds, 5,435 Tons of Total Bulk, and 46,541 Tons of Liquid Cargo.

The Total Export Cargo of 51,936 Tons Comprised of 27,981 Tons of Containerized Cargo,456 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 21,950 Tons of Clinkers, 1,549 Tons of Rice, and 23,499 Tons of Total Bulk,

There are twelve ships namely Kota Primrose, Bi Jia Shan, X-Press Phoeix, Kiran Caspian, Safeen Power, Nara, Marine Xena, Hong Da Xin 768, Linken, Apl Southampton, and Al- Amer at Berth at Karachi Port Trust.

Seven ships namely Top Fortune, Rui Ning 6, CMACGM Petra, Oocl Dalian, MSC Toronto, Tian Le, Hawks Javaahiru, Bangkok Bridge, Albert P, and Marine Xena sailed from Karachi Port Trust.

Port Qasim

A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, GFS Jade, Peonia and Orfeas left the port. Meanwhile three more ships, BW Helios, Xin Hai Tong-50 and New Lotus are expected to sail.

Cargo volume of 133,109 tones comprising 86,389 tones imports cargo and 26,720 export cargo carried in 1,219 Containers (819 TEUs Imports and 400 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

There are 17 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, Al-Bert-P, OBE Dinares, Chem Star, QilinZuo and Apageon scheduled to load/offload Container, Rice/Cement, Palm oil, Mogas and Coal are expected to take berths QICT, MW-1, LCT, FOTCO and MW-4 respectively on 09th June, 2026.
