First global conference on ‘recycling’ at Faisalabad tomorrow
FAISALABAD: More than 300 national and international experts, policymakers, researchers, industrialists, and representatives of development organizations are expected to participate in the First International Conference on Recycling (ICOR 2026), scheduled to be held at Serena Hotel Faisalabad on June 10.
The conference, themed around recycling, circular economy, and sustainable development, is being jointly organized by the University of Kamalia, Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF), and Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF).

Speaking about the significance of the event, GCUF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Rauf-i-Azam said that recycling and the circular economy had become essential for achieving sustainable development.
