LAHORE: Punjab Agriculture Minister Syed Ashiq Hussain Kirmani has said that the provincial government will pursue collaboration with the Agriculture Research Institute, Cambridge, to promote advanced agricultural research and align Punjab’s agricultural sector with international standards.
The minister made these remarks during a visit by a high-level Punjab delegation to the Agriculture Research Institute in Cambridge, United Kingdom. The delegation included Usama Khan Leghari and Iftikhar Ali Sahoo. According to an official statement issued on Saturday, the visit was aimed at strengthening cooperation with leading global research institutions and promoting modern scientific research in the agriculture sector.
Kirmani said that efforts would be made to establish research collaboration between the Ayub Agricultural Research Institute and the Agriculture Research Institute, Cambridge, to accelerate innovation and enhance agricultural productivity in Punjab.
