ISLAMABAD: Security forces killed four terrorists belonging to the banned Fitna-al-Khwarij in two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) carried out in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the military’s media wing, an intelligence-based operation was conducted in Dera Ismail Khan district on the reported presence of terrorists. During the operation, security forces effectively engaged the militants’ location and, after an intense exchange of fire, killed two terrorists.
In a separate intelligence-based operation in Mohmand district, security forces neutralised two more terrorists during a firefight.
The ISPR said weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain terrorists, who had been actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.
The military’s media wing stated that the killed militants were affiliated with the Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij.
