LAHORE: The process of deportation of illegally residing foreign nationals across the province is continuing.

In this regard, Punjab Police has so far deported 35,216 illegally residing foreign nationals, including Afghans, from Lahore and across the province, while 208 illegally residing individuals are currently present at various holding points.

While providing details, Police said that among those deported are 13,766 men, 7,061 women, and 14,389 children. Among the deportees, 10,954 were Proof of Residence (PoR) card holders, 11,131 Afghan Citizen Card holders, while 13,131 were illegally residing foreign nationals.
