Third day of Eid-ul-Azha: Thin attendance observed in govt offices

KARACHI: Thin attendance was observed in government and private sector organizations on Friday, the first working day after Eid-ul- Azha holidays as people seemed gossiping on Eid celebrations, sacrificial animals and butchers issues.

Thin attendance in both public and private sector offices immediately after Eid holidays is a recurring phenomenon. This is usually driven by staff taking extra days off to extend the festive break, combined with the logistical challenges of returning from out-of-town.
