Alkhidmat Foundation says will provide meat to needy people on Eidul Azha
KARACHI: Alkhidmat Foundation has announced thousands of sacrifices this Eid-ul-Adha for distribution of meat to needy people across the city.
Naveed Ali Baig, CEO, Alkhidmat Foundation, in a statement said that the meat would be distributed among underprivileged families, orphans, and deserving individuals.
The charity organisation has set up collective Qurbani centers throughout Karachi where sacrificial animals will be offered for charitable purposes. Arrangements have also been made for collective Qurbani to facilitate donors and participants who wish to take part, Baig added.
The organization will deploy hundreds of volunteers to distribute the meat and collect sacrificial animal hides during the Eid days.
The CEO said the meat from “Fi-Sabeelillah” Qurbani would be distributed respectfully among deserving families — particularly those who remain deprived of meat throughout the year due to poverty. “Sharing the blessings of Eid with people who cannot afford Qurbani is an important social and religious responsibility,” he said.
Alkhidmat, he noted, has been serving humanity without discrimination for the past 50 years. The organization works across multiple sectors including education, healthcare, clean water and sanitation, orphan care, Islamic microfinance, community services, disaster management, and the Bano Qabil free IT education program. Its welfare work, he said, is trusted both within Pakistan and internationally, and all operations are conducted with transparency and integrity.
Baig invited those wishing to participate in Fi-Sabeelillah Qurbani to contact Alkhidmat, saying all arrangements for meat distribution have been finalised and hundreds of volunteers are ready to take part in the campaign.
