KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 185,397 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 114,056 tonnes of Import Cargo and 71,341 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.

The Total Import Cargo of 114,056 tonnes Comprised of 45,598 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 57 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 2,801 tonnes of Chickpeas & 65,600 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.

The Total Export Cargo of 71,341 tonnes Comprised of 46,934 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 1,025 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 5,837 tonnes of Clinkers, 395 Tons of Rice & 17,150 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.

Around, 08 ships namely, 66Seaspan Breeze, Marine Xena, Ndl Ten, Hua Chuang 66, Msc Sonia, Ualf Liberty, Selen & Chipolbrok Atlantic berthed at the Karachi Port Trust. Approximately, 05 ships namely, Ts Mumbai, Pioneer Harmony, Elefsis, Kota Plumbago & Hua Chuang sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.

PORT QASIM

A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them four ships, GFS Jade, Darya Devi, Searay and TG Libra left the port on Wednesday morning. Meanwhile two more ships, MSC Shrinika-V and Zhong Gu Kun Ming are expected to sail on Wednesday.

Cargo volume of 235,941 tones comprising 144,195 tones imports cargo and 91,746 export cargo carried in 8,698 Containers (4,308 TEUs Imports & 4,390 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

There are 22 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, Ming Lian, Chemroad Sakura, Asahi Queen and Sinar Toraja & three more ships, Hansa Europe, APL Havre and Seaspan Osaka scheduled to load/offload Iron Ore, Soya Bean Seed, Palm oil, LPG, and Container are expected to take berths MW-1, FAP, LCT, EVTL and QICT respectively on Wednesday 20th May, 2026.
