KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 161,845 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 99,756 tonnes of Import Cargo and 62,089 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.

The Total Import Cargo of 99,756 tonnes Comprised of 49,868 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 17,925 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 2,263 tonnes of Chickpeas & 29,700 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.

The Total Export Cargo of 62,089 tonnes Comprised of 24,893 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 488 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 1,700 tonnes of Barite Lumps, 2,306 tonnes of Cement, 25,052 tonnes of Clinkers & 7,650 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.

Around,07 ships namely, Navara, Dp World Jeddah, Seaspan Osaka, Radiant Ray, X-Press Carina, P. Aliki & Angel berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.

Approximately, 04 ships namely, Spirit of Bertram, Oocl Jakarta, Zhong Gu Kun Ming & Ksl Runyang sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.

PORT QASIM

A total of eight ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them three ships, Al-Kharaitiyat, Xin Hai Tong-50 and African Arrow expected to sail on Tuesday.

Cargo volume of 101,085 tones comprising 101,085 tones imports cargo and 0 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours.

There are 23 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them five ships, Star Fighter, Sea Champion, SSI Interceptor, Zhong Gu Kun Ming and GFS Jade & another ship ‘MSC Shrinika-V’ scheduled to load/offload Cement, Coal and Container are expected to take berths MW-2, MW-4, PQEPT and QICT respectively on Tuesday 19th May, 2026.
