LAHORE: Punjab Safe Cities Authority paid rich tribute to mothers on the occasion of Mother’s Day and reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring safety, dignity, and empowerment of women through modern technology and innovative public safety initiatives.
According to the spokesperson of the Punjab Safe Cities Authority, the protection of mothers, sisters, and daughters remains a top priority, and PSCA continues to play a vital role in providing a secure environment through advanced digital facilities and emergency response services.
The spokesperson stated that the Virtual Women Police Station is enabling women to access legal guidance, lodge complaints, and seek emergency assistance from their doorstep. In addition, Women Safety App and Public Safety App are providing women with quick and easy access to immediate support in emergency situations.
The spokesperson further added that women facing harassment, blackmailing, or any emergency situation can instantly contact Safe Cities’ platforms to receive timely assistance and protection. The spokesperson emphasized that PSCA’s state-of-the-art surveillance, monitoring, and emergency response systems are playing a significant role in creating a safer environment for women across Punjab. He reaffirmed that PSCA remains fully committed to taking every possible measure for the protection and welfare of women.
