ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday hailed what he described as the success of “Ma’arka-e-Haq” and “Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos”, praising the armed forces for their conduct during the war with India last year and reaffirming the country’s commitment to defending its sovereignty.
In a statement, PM Sharif said the nation stood united in the face of aggression, commending the armed forces for their strength, professionalism and operational excellence.

He said the operation demonstrated the military’s capability under the leadership of Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, whom he credited with defending the country’s sovereignty and dignity with precision, valour and determination.
