Armed forces warn of stronger, precise response to any aggression
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s armed forces on the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq” declared that any future aggression against the country would be met with an even stronger, more precise and decisive response, as the military leadership described the May 2025 conflict as a defining moment that demonstrated Pakistan’s operational preparedness and multi-domain warfare capabilities.
In a strong message issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) late Wednesday night, the armed forces — particularly the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) — paid tribute to what they termed a “historic and decisive victory” achieved during Marka-e-Haq, saying the conflict had reinforced national confidence, institutional resolve and Pakistan’s defence preparedness.
The military said the operations conducted during the conflict represented an exceptional example of professional excellence in modern aerial warfare and highlighted the PAF’s growing integration of advanced technologies, smart systems and niche as well as disruptive capabilities.
According to the statement, the PAF was emerging as a future-ready air force equipped to operate effectively in modern multi-domain battlespaces, with expertise aligned to evolving requirements of contemporary warfare.
The armed forces maintained that Pakistan remained a peace-loving country whose military preparations were aimed at preserving regional peace, stability and security. However, they warned that the country was fully aware of changing geopolitical realities and hostile military preparations in the region.
“Any aggression or hostile designs against Pakistan will be responded to with greater force, precision and resolve than before,” the statement said, adding that the enemy had already witnessed Pakistan’s preparedness and decisive capability during Marka-e-Haq.
The military said Pakistan’s armed forces were continuously investing in modern technologies, advanced capabilities and professional expertise to prepare for future warfare environments, describing themselves as more focused and combat-ready than ever before.
The statement also paid tribute to PAF officers, airmen and personnel for their professionalism, sacrifices and operational focus during the defence of Pakistan’s airspace, calling it a “bright chapter” in the country’s military history.
