RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on Friday visited the Tilla Firing Range, where he conducted a detailed review of ongoing operational preparations and training exercises.
During the visit, troops carried out a range of drills showcasing the use of modern weaponry, integrated combat planning, and rapid battlefield response capabilities.
Senior military officials also assessed the preparedness and professionalism of field formations.
On the occasion, military leadership reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining full operational readiness under all circumstances to safeguard Pakistan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
According to media reports, the exercises were aimed at enhancing the operational readiness of military units in line with modern warfare requirements, particularly focusing on improving rapid response capabilities. Such drills not only strengthen defence preparedness but also serve as a signal of balance of power and regional stability.
