Wheat pauses its rally as ample supply offsets US drought fears

CANBERRA: Chicago wheat futures dipped in early trading on Thursday as ample global supply weighed on the market, but prices remained more than 3% higher so far this week due to dry weather in US growing areas that threatens to reduce production.

Corn and soybean futures inched lower after rising on Wednesday, thanks to rain disrupting early planting in the US Midwest.
