Governor assures FPCCI team: Restoring confidence of businessmen top priority
KARACHI: Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi said the government was taking practical steps to promote investment and improve the business environment, stressing that restoring the confidence of industrialists and traders remained a top priority.
He made these assertions during a meeting with a delegation of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, led by its President Atif Hussain Sheikh, here at the Governor House on Monday.
Discussions focused on promoting industry and trade, and the role of the business community in supporting economic growth.
Hashmi said the country’s economy could be further strengthened through collective efforts, highlighting the need to tap opportunities in mineral resources, the blue economy and the industrial sector. Industrial development was closely linked to job creation, particularly for young people.
