Iran reviewing peace proposal but not open to ‘temporary ceasefire’

DUBAI: Iran won’t reopen the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for a “temporary ceasefire”, a senior Iranian official told Reuters on Monday, adding that Tehran views Washington as lacking the readiness for a permanent ceasefire.
