JAKARTA: Indonesia’s annual inflation rate cooled to 3.48% in March, official data showed on Wednesday, lower than the median forecast of 3.6% in a Reuters poll.

The February rate of 4.76% was the highest in nearly three years, but statistics officials had said the acceleration was temporary due to the impact of a discount on some electricity tariffs in the first two months of last year.
