FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) organised a two-day training session at its Regional Training Centre (RTC) to enhance the capacity of its officers and officials regarding the rules and regulations of the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and the implementation of the updated version 2.0 of the e-Pakistan Acquisition and Disposal System (e-PADS).
The objective of this training was to equip officers with comprehensive knowledge of PPRA laws, regulations, and the effective use of e-PADS, ensuring transparency and efficiency in procurement, tendering, contract awards, and legal disclosures.
During the session, Chief Law Officer (CLO) FESCO Taimur Mateen Khan, Director Organisational Development (OD) Mahmood Ahmad, Deputy Director (MM) Farhan Ali Khan and Director MIS FESCO Faisal Shahzad, provided detailed briefings on the introduction of e-PADS Version 2.0, PPRA Rules and Regulations, Material Procurement, Tendering processes, contract awards, publication of tenders, account creation, and other practical and legal aspects.
