ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has stated that former Prime Minister Imran Khan will be allowed to speak with his children on Eid day, as has been arranged in the past.
Responding on social media to a post by Jemima Goldsmith, Tarar said that Khan’s children are welcome to visit Pakistan using their NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis), as they are Pakistani citizens and do not require a visa for entry.
He added; however, that they will be required to fully comply with Pakistani laws during their stay in the country.
The minister’s statement came after Jemima Goldsmith raised concerns on X (formerly Twitter) regarding delays in visa processing for her sons, who had applied to visit their father in Pakistan.
