KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 134,398 tonnes of cargo comprising 82,458 tonnes of import cargo and 51,940 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The total import cargo of 82,458 tonnes comprised of 35,743 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 23,682 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 1,550 tonnes of Chickpeas, 4,703 tonnes of Soya Bean Seeds, & 16,780 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 51,740 tonnes comprised of 29,706 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 277 tonnes of B. Bulk Cargo, 6,468 tonnes of Cement, 10,895 tonnes of Clinkers, 1,466 tonnes of Rice, & 2,950 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Approximately, Marine Ista, Oocl Atlanta, Gm 1, Xin Hang Zhou and Ever Snart, berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Seaspan Brilliance, Apl Yangshan and Marine Ista, sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
