MOIB dismisses Afghan Taliban’s claims of alleged capturing of Pak posts
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MOIB) has dismissed claims circulating from the Afghan Taliban’s so-called Ministry of Defence regarding the alleged capture of Pakistani posts and damage to infrastructure, describing them as false and fabricated propaganda.
In a fact-check statement released on social media, the ministry said the claims were designed to mislead the Afghan public, which it said continues to suffer under what it described as Taliban-sponsored militant networks.

The ministry stated that losses suffered by the Afghan Taliban and affiliated militant groups, including Fitna Al Khawarij, are being regularly documented and updated by Pakistani authorities. According to the statement, video and photographic evidence of operations is being shared with the media whenever available to ensure transparency.
MOIB also asserted that Pakistan’s security operations are targeting terrorist infrastructure and support networks, and said efforts are being made to provide credible and timely information about the ongoing operations.
