LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has congratulated young athlete Haram Rehan from Gujranwala for breaking a six-year-old Indian record and making history by entering the Guinness World Records. Haram Rehan, a student of Government College for Women Satellite Town Gujranwala, set a new world record by performing 143 knee strikes in one minute, surpassing the previous record held by an Indian male athlete for the past six years.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif extended heartfelt congratulations to Haram Rehan on her remarkable achievement and also paid tribute to her coaching staff for their efforts and dedication. She said that Haram Rehan has raised the Pakistani flag high by breaking the long-standing record. She added that the daughters of Punjab are not alone, and that she stands with every daughter and will continue to support them.
The CM remarked that Haram Rehan has become a source of inspiration for young girls and has proved that if the daughters of Punjab show determination, they can surprise the world with their achievements. She
further stated that the Punjab government is utilising all available resources to help young people fulfil their dreams and is providing every possible facility so that they can represent Pakistan proudly on the global stage.
